Kanak Attack

The team was unable to participate in the SAE West Aero Competition.  As an alternative, the team participated in the Toledo R/C Model Exposition located in Toledo, Ohio.  This event is the largest R/C exposition in North America.  The team spent the duration of the event presenting the aircraft and speaking with the audience.  Because of the great reception the team received from the audience, Rick Lederman, co-director, has started on recruiting more universities to participate in the expo next year.  This will start a new competition exclusively for universities to manufacture and aircraft and to present the engineering side of airplanes.  The team would like to extend a special thank you to Rick Lederman for allowing the team to participate in the expo.
